Zero-knowledge encryption
Notes even we can’t read.
And they vanish once they’re read.
Write a note
End-to-end encrypted. We can’t read it.
Encrypted on this device before it’s sent. We never see the text.
Your link is ready
Copy or share this link now. We can't show it again: the key is inside the link and never reached us.
The part after # is the key. It was made in your browser and was never sent to us. That’s why we can’t read your note, or show you this link again.
Sharing safely
- Send the password through a different channel than the link, for example the link by email and the password by phone or a different messaging app.
- Anyone who has the link and password can open the note, so send it only to the person who needs it.
- If the recipient says the note was already opened, someone else may have intercepted the link.
Changed your mind? Keep a destroy link
Open this private link to destroy the note before it's read. Keep it to yourself.
Readable at both ends. Scrambled in the middle.
We’re the middle. We deliver your note without ever being able to open it. That isn’t a policy we promise to follow; it’s how the encryption works.
Your device
You write it
Wi-Fi password: blue-harbor-42
Your browser locks it with a brand-new random key before anything is sent.
Our servers
We can’t read it
7xQ2fKpL9vR3mN8wE1aT6bY0cU5dJ4hG2sZ9iO7kF3lP1qX8eV6rW0tA5yS…
- No key
- No password
- No way to unscramble it
Your recipient
They unlock it
Wi-Fi password: blue-harbor-42
The key in their link unlocks it on their device. Then it’s deleted from ours.

- The address
- Sent to our server so it can find the locked note. On its own it unlocks nothing.
- The key, after the #
- Made in your browser. Browsers never send this part to a server, so it goes from you to your recipient and never reaches us.
Three steps, then it's gone
Write
Type your secret. Your browser encrypts it with a fresh random key before anything leaves your device.
Share
You get a link with the key tucked after the #. Browsers never send that part to us, so we never see the key.
Vanish
Your recipient opens the link and presses Reveal. The note is decrypted on their device and deleted from ours.
Built so we can’t snoop, even if we wanted to
Nothing readable to hand over
If anyone asks us for your note, all we could give them is scrambled data. We never have the key.
Safe from link previews
Chat apps that preview links won’t burn your note. It opens only when a person presses Reveal.
Nothing left behind
Notes are deleted on read or at expiry. No account needed, no tracking cookies, no trackers.
