The service
Vanishnote lets you send encrypted notes that are deleted after being read or after they expire. It's provided free of charge, as is, without guarantees of availability.
Acceptable use
Don't use Vanishnote to:
- break the law, or help anyone else do so;
- send malware, phishing links, spam or content that exploits or harms others;
- attack, overload or probe the service, other than good-faith security research reported to us privately.
We may block access from sources that abuse the service.
Your content
You're responsible for what you send. Because notes are encrypted in your browser, we can't see or moderate their contents, and we can't recover a note, its link or its password for you.
No warranty
We work hard to keep Vanishnote secure, but no system is perfect. Read our security model to understand its limits. To the extent permitted by law, Vanishnote is provided without warranties of any kind, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using it.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
